Considerations in Approaching Graduation
Below are a list of considerations to be mindful of as you approach eligibility to apply for graduation:
- Is the Expected Graduation Term (EGT) within your student record accurate? You can check this through Wolverine Access (Student Business→Student Center→My Academics→View My Advisement Report→Detail Report PDF and look under the third column “Expected Grad Term”). If it is incorrect, please email [email protected] and provide the correct term.
- You should submit your graduation application via Wolverine Access at least one term prior to your expected graduation term. (How to apply video).
- If you are a MDDP (Multi Dependent Degree Program) student, please remember you must apply for both degrees and plan to graduate during the same term.
- Schedule a final audit appointment with your academic advisor one term prior to your last anticipated term of enrollment.
- If you are seeking any non-engineering minors (this includes Computer Science), contact your Minor Advisor and request they submit your releases via the LSA Advising File System.
- If you plan to participate in the University Commencement and/or CoE Graduation Program, please visit their websites in the beginning of your graduation term for information regarding each event. NOTE: These events require registration, and your graduation application does not secure your participation; nor does participation in these events mean you are cleared for graduation. Also please be aware your name will only appear in the University Commencement program for the term in which you are truly graduating and even then only if you met the required application deadline.
